The Kwara state command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has called on kwara state government and other security agencies to commence massive mop-up of arms and ammunition in a bid to avoid disaster.
The state commander of the NDLEA Apeh Reuben made the call while parading five suspected drug dealers who were also found with functionally sophisticated locally made pistol as they were ready for operation around Baboko area of Ilorin.
The NDLEA noted that arms handling is on the increase which according to NDLEA potent danger to the state.
He said the command has seized three hundred and ninety one point two kilogram of hard drug and arrested seventy four suspects between January and eight of August 2016.
