Following the attack on St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, two more terrorists suspected behind the terror attack that took the life of about forty worshippers have been arrested.
It is recalled that the Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, and the Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor have earlier revealed the arrest of some terrorists behind the attack and other attacks in the country.
After about forty-eight hours of the announcement by the Chief of Defense Staff, the Director of Defence Information, Major General Jimmy Akpor has confirmed the arrest of two additional terrorists.
General Akpor added that the suspects, Al-Qasim Idris and Abdulhaleem Idris were arrested at Omialafara (Omulafa), Ose Local Government Area, Ondo State through the joint efforts of the military and the Department of State Services, DSS.
He also noted that Abdulhaleem alongside other terrorists have also coordinated attacks on military targets in Okene, Okene LGA, Kogi State resulting in casualties.
