Super Eagles midfielder Michael Babatunde provided an assist on his debut for Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club who bagged a 1-1 away draw against Guinean club, Horoya in their CAF Champions League Group C matchday-3 game on Tuesday.
The 2014 World Cup star who joined Wydad Athletic on a three year deal this summer was denied twice by Horoya goalkeeper Khadim N’Diaye who was in action for Senegal during the 2018 FIFA World
Babatunde was first denied in the eighth minute when his header was parried away by N’Diaye and his close range shot stopped by the 33 year old shotstopper 14 minutes later.In the 26th minute, Babatunde laid a perfect pass for Ismail El Haddad to score the opener for Wydad Athletic Club, but Ocansey Mandela drew level for Horoya four minutes later.
