Man Battling For Survival At Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki After Anal Rape

One Kenneth Nweke who was reportedly raped through his anus by a 26-year-old man, Lawrence Anyigor, is currently battling for survival at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, FETHA.NPF

The victim who hails from Effium community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, was said to have bled profusely after the act and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Anyigor, a native of Benue State but resides in the neighbouring Effium Community in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state where he committed the crime, reportedly invaded the house of the victim at about 1:30 am on March 1, and raped him through the anus.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, ASP George Okafor also confirmed the incident.
