Lion kills zookeeper at Gamji Gate amusement park, Kaduna

A zookeeper at Gamji Gate amusement park, Kaduna has died after a lion broke out of its cage and mauled him.

The zookeeper named was attacked after the lion escaped, and was admitted to a hospital where he died of his wounds in the early hours of Wednesday.

Authorities, according to BBC Africa, say the lion has since been lured back into its cage.
