The PDP Candidate for Kwara State House of Assembly Omupo Constituency, Abdulrasak Oko-Ode has promised to prioritize his constituents interest when elected as lawmaker. Lawal Oko-Ode stated this on Wednesday during his door-to-door to some communities in Omupo Constituency.
He insisted that he will push for Pension Reform to address challenges facing pensioners and introduce bills to better life of his constituents in Igbaja, Idofian, Omupo, Agunjin and Ora Wards.
The PDP candidate explained that his 10-point agenda aim at complementing the state government efforts and bring dividend of democracy to every strata within Omupo Constituency.
The PDP candidate pledged to carry his constituents along in government activities by setting up three zonal constituency offices in Igbaja, Idofian and Omupo to get direct feedback, organise quarterly Town Hall meeting, facilitate attendance of Public Hearing in the House and meet frequently with all stakeholders including traditional rulers, opinion leaders, artisans association and others.
He therefore appealed to people of Igbaja, Idofian, Omupo, Agunjin and Ora wards to troop out en masse on Saturday to vote for him as the representative in Kwara State House of Assembly on the platform of PDP.
