Lagos get new commisioner of police

The Police authorities have announced a change of guard in the Lagos State Command.

A former Deputy Commissioner in Charge of Operations in the state, Mr. Imohimi Edgar, now takes over as the Commissioner of Police.

Mr. Edgar who was last week elevated as Acting Commissioner of Police replaces Mr. Fatai Owoseni, who had been in that position for two years.

The handing over ceremony between the immediate past commissioner of police, Fatai Owoseni, and the new police boss, Imohini Edgar, took place this morning at the state police command in Ikeja.
