Kwara Advancement group welcomes new decampees to PDP

The Kwara Advancement group, an umbrella body of all committed members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara state has welcomed its members at the National assembly who recently decamped from the ruling All Progressives Congress.

According to a statement issued today and signed by chairman of the group, Former Speaker of the Kwara state house of Assembly, right Honorable Babatunde Muhammed and the secretary, Honorable Abiodun Olawuyi, and six other members of the group, the decampees are Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, Honorable Funke Adedoyin and Honorable Layoonu Danladi.

The group also assured the National executive Committee of the PDP and Kwarans that over 90% of the present PDP members in Kwara South Senatorial district have decided to remain in the party.

It stated that the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and the Kwara state governor, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed, the Speaker of the Kwara state house of Assembly and other stakeholders of the APC in Kwara state are very much welcomed to the PDP.

The group assured them of its unflinching cooperation for a victorious 2019 general elections for the PDP in Kwara state.
