The counsel to Chairman of KASMAG motors, Barrister Taofeeq Albarka has said it is regrettable that the KASMAG park belonging to Alhaji Abdulganiyu Omolola was demolished based on a purported order of demolition obtained by the official of NSCDC.
Speaking with newsmen, the barrister said there was no clear order for such action and that his client has filed a case to seek redress following the illegal demolition.
KASMAG motors dragged office of the kwara state attorney general and the Nigeria security and civil deffence corps NSCDC before the state high court of justice against the demolition of its head office situated at unity road Ilorin .
Barrister Albarka disclosed that the said case has been assigned to Justice A.B Mohammed, while the date of sitting is expected to be communicated.
The barrister said the state Commissioner of Police has also instituted a panel of inquiry to unravel the unfortunate incident.
However, some business owners in kwara state have also reacted to the demolition of KASMAG motor park, calling for justice to take its course.
