Jay-Z replaces Diddy on Forbes’ hip-hop’s wealthiest artists list of 2018

Forbes on Thursday, released its annual wealthiest hip-hop artists list for 2018, and Jay-Z tops the list with an estimated net worth of $900 million.

His earnings takes out Sean “Diddy” Combs from the No. 1 spot, a title he previously held for seven consecutive years.

Jay-Z’s current net worth went from $810 million to $900 million, after he received a rising value of his Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Usse cognac.

The 4:44 rapper also has a nine-figure ownership stake in Roc Nation and Tidal.

Diddy is now placed at the No.2 spot two with an impressive $825 million, while Dr. Dre keeps his No. 3 spot after his net worth increased from $740 million to $770 million.

Rappers, Eminem and Drake come in tied with $100 million respectively.
