The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the National Universities Commission (NUC), National Board for Technical Education and the National Commission for Colleges of Education – have said they will sanction institutions that sell application forms for the conduct of the 2022/2023 admissions.
Reports gathered say the move was meant to curtail the high rate of irregular admissions conducted by institutions.
According to JAMB, the conduct of the 2022/2023 admissions commenced in August 2022 with the exam body pegging the deadline at December 31, 2022.
Though some institutions are yet to commence the admission processes, JAMB said it would sanction institutions that sell application forms to candidates.
Meanwhile, the board directed that all applications must be routed through the Central Admissions Processing System.
