The Kwara State chapter of the Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) has thrown its weight behind Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for credible performance in his barely five months old administration.
The group, in a statement signed by its State Chairman, Prince Deji Oyekunle; State Secretary, Prince Bayo Akadi and State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Abdulkareem Onagun respectively, said the government has recorded modest achievements with the payment of counterpart fund to Universal Basic Education Board and the Governor’s visit to the state owned tertiary institutions aimed at giving face lift to infrastructure in them.
The group also lauded the state government for the rehabilitation of roads in Ilorin and Omu-Aran as well as its intervention in other critical areas and called on the Governor not to rest on his oars.
It acknowledged the right of the Governor in the selection and appointment of members of his cabinet and urged Kwarans to accord the state Commissioners-designate maximum support as soon as they are sworn-in and assigned portfolios.
