Governor Seriake Dickson ask appointees seeking elective positions to resign their appointments

Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has asked his appointees seeking elective positions to resign their appointments on or before  the 15th of August  2018.

Governor Dickson gave the directive during an interactive meeting with all political appointees at the DSP Alamieyeseigha Memorial Banquet Hall, Yenagoa,

According to the Governor , the directive is in line with the guidelines of the Peoples Democratic Party for the forthcoming elections.

The Governor therefore directed all affected appointees to apply themselves to the standard practice of tendering their resignation letters to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government for proper acknowledgement and documentation.
