The Kwara State Governor, Abdulrasaq Abdulraham, has approved the sum of Two Hundred Million Naira counterpart fund for the take off of Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Projects 111.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Transport, Dr.Yusuf Manjo, who disclosed this in a statement, described Governor Abdulraham as a man of few words but more action. He commended the Governor for his sheer commitment to turning things around within a few weeks of inauguration.
He noted that the Governor has been facilitating projects that will immensely benefit the masses since his assumption of office, saying that His Excellency’s body language is a practical demonstration of sincere service to the masses and fulfillment of his electioneering promises.
Dr Manjo added that with the government of Abdulraham, the people of Kwara will now begin to feel the climate of genuine governance. He therefore urged Kwarans to be patient with His Excellency as the Governor is actively alive to the crusade to revamp all the deteriorating sectors of life in the state.
