Federal Government discovers over seven hundred thousand ghost workers, saves ten trillion naira through implementation of  Treasury Single Account

Since the introduction of the Integration Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS), the Federal Government has been able to weed out seven hundred and twenty thousand ghost workers from the Federal Civil Service.

According to the director general, Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Dasuki Arabi the government has been able to reduce over two hundred and twenty billion naira wastage through wrong management on ministries, departments and agencies of government payroll.

He added that with the implementation of the Treasury Single Account deployed in all ministries, departments and agencies of government more than 10 trillion naira has been saved over the years.
