Supporters of the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, grounded traffic activities in Lekki, as they reportedly defied police orders and campaigned at the Lekki toll-gate.
The ‘Obidients’ as they are fondly called, gathered earlier today at the toll-gate despite heavy police presence.
Reports gathered show private and commercial bus drivers finding alternative routes out of the traffic on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, as the traffic was almost at a standstill.
Meanwhile, the report was similar in Asaba, the Delta State Capital as unprecedented and intimidating crowd that marched from the Inter-bus roundabout along Nnbisi road, kept increasing and alledgedly shutting down the city for over seven hours.
The “Obidient” movement which started as a mere social media rant has gained momentum leading to Nigerians majorly youths to come out in thousand and with recent rally in Abuja and Lagos adjudged to be in millions.
