It’s despicable to play politics with Buhari’s health | Kashamu tells Fayose

Senator representing Ogun East, Buruji Kashamu has condemned Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose for stating that President Muhammadu Buhari was on life support.

Fayose in a statement on Wednesday had said Buhari was very ill and was not allowed access to Mrs Aisha Buhari when she visited London.

Kashamu in his response said;  “It was despicable for Fayose to play politics with the president’s illness.

“Nigerians overwhelmingly elected President Buhari and if today he is having challenges, it is despicable for any reasonable person to play politics with it because nobody is above health challenges.

”It is unfair and condemnable for Fayose to continue playing God over the president’s health condition; his ridiculous comments are invariably heating up the polity and fanning the embers of disaffection amongst Nigerians.

“Are the people from the North not in support of the effectual acting president? Is the acting president not working with the structures that both he and President Buhari put in place?

‘’Are the National Assembly, the Federal Executive Council and the Council of State, which Fayose is a member of as a serving governor, not in total support of the activities of the acting president?

”If everything is going on well under the leadership of the highly respected and credible leadership of the acting president, who is Fayose to play to the gallery and thereby insulting the sensibility of Nigerians?”
