APC campaign organization accuses Kwara state government of financing PDP candidates through IFK funds

APC campaign organization accuses Kwara state government of financing PDP candidates through IFK funds

The Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq Campaign Organization (AACO) has alleged that the Kwara State government led by Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed of being non-transparent and imprudent in the management of the Infrastructure Development Fund (IFK) in the last twenty-eight months. It also accused it of financing the PDP with state funds.

The organization in a statement issued by its Director, Media and Publicity, Abdulrasheed Akogun argued that despite the huge fund being earmarked, Kwarans are still waiting to enjoy infrastructures promised by the PDP government in the state.

He described IF-K as a good and futuristic policy with poor implementation strategies, querying the need for quarterly disbursement of the fund to contractors when Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, KW-IRS usually remits five hundred million naira to IF-K account monthly.

The Campaign organization therefore urged electorates not to fall for the promises of a party that has track records of failing to fulfil promises as we approach the general elections.
