ANN looks forward to local government congress after successful ward Congresses, says its new dawn in Kwara State

The Ward Congresses of the Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN, on Monday held across the sixteen local government areas of Kwara state with the party describing it as the beginning of a new dawn in the state of harmony.

The state party Chairman, Pastor Michael Jolayemi, who monitored the process in various local government areas said with the process, the party has commenced his mission to rescue Kwara and bring about the needed change in Nigerian politics.

While describing the All Progressive Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as birds of a feather, Jolayemi urged Nigerians to opt for fresh brains with the love of the people at heart. On the strength of ANN to dislodge major parties, Jolaye said the party has all it takes and is determined to contend proficiently ahead of 2019.

The state party Secretary, Honourable Babatunde Ibrahim, described the ward congresses as rancour-free, a development he said reflects the party’s zero tolerance for disorderliness and unruly behavior.

The Organising Secretary, Mohammed Saheed, said Monday’s successful exercise will be followed by local government Congresses in all the sixteen LGAs in Kwara. He also described the present administration as a sham, noting that the ANN is determined to push them out of power in the interest of the masses.
