Alajagusi holds stakeholders meeting, says more communities to benefit from intervention projects

A member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the people of Ilorin West and Asa Constituency, AbdulYekeen Sadiq Alajagusi, has said that more communities in his constituent will benefit from his 2021 constituency projects and other succor which he said will include building of classrooms, construction of roads and digging of motorized boreholes to make life more meaningful to the people.

The House of Rep member spoke at a stakeholders meeting held at the weekend with the Ward chairpersons and elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Asa Local Government Area of the State. 

Alajagusi who briefed stakeholders on his achievements in office, said he has facilitated Six Motorized Boreholes to Alapa/Onire/Odegiwa and Afon Wards in Asa, renovated many Motorized Boreholes in Ilorin West and Asa Local Government Areas, Reconstructed Coca-Cola Osin Road in Ilorin West, as well as Otte Dam, which serves over ten Communities.

 

Others include Workshop training for  selected youth from Ilorin West and Asa Local Government Areas on personal development and importance  of peaceful coexistence,distribution  of palliatives during the peak of COVID-19 Lockdown in the State among  other numerous support to the constituency .

In his remarks ,Ward chairman Ogbondoroko/Ireke Ward Mr. Jimoh Rasak Olarewaju, applauded Hon. Alajagusi for the timely project .He urged the lawmaker to  extend the gesture to other communities yet to benefit .

Chairman Agbona/Elebue/Fata Ward Mr. Rafiu Salman in his own submission while lauding efforts of the law maker appealed that roads in communities within the constituency be  graded and made motorable .
