The Chairman and founder, African Broadband Limited, owners of RoyalFM, RoyalTimes and RoyalTV online, Engineer Gbenga Adebayo has called for a life full of Godly fear, piety, love, sacrifice, and dedication among Christians and Nigerians at large.
He also urged all Nigerians to spend this year’s Easter, praying for the nation and preaching the message of peace and hope as espoused in the Scriptures as well as the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus Christ.
Adebayo made the charge today in a statement issued in Lagos to mark this year’s Easter celebration.
He said the lessons learnt and imbibed all through the Lenten period should not be forsaken after, but soaked up and adopted as a guide for a new bliss of life.
On the state of the nation, the business doyen noted that the situation in Nigeria calls for optimum patience and perseverance.
He however stressed that the time has come for every individual to be politically aware, act by example and contribute their quota towards rebuilding a united and progressive Nigeria.
Noting that little can be achieved in a society where conflict and disharmony is rife, Engineer Adebayo, who is also the Group Chief Executive Officer, CNSSL, charged Nigerians to live above political, ethnic and religious sentiments by living together in peace and harmony.
