The President and founder, African Broadband Limited, owners of RoyalFM, RoyalTimes and RoyalTV online, Engineer Gbenga Adebayo, has charged Nigerians especially the youths to be more actively involved in political activities in order to add value to governance.
He said such participation will not only ensure that more individuals are part of the election process, but that Nigerians with wealth of experience are getting involved while there’ll be quality representation, transparency and accountability because more citizens are involved.
Engineer Adebayo made the charge in a statement issued in Lagos, to mark Nigeria’s sixty-first independence anniversary.
The enterpreneur noted that for Nigeria to achieve the desired change, all hands must be on deck to install the right leadership, counsel constructively and ask the right questions when necessary.
On whether the independence anniversary is worth celebrating, Adebayo admitted that the nation is facing myriads of challenges. He however said all could be surmounted with the right leadership and commitment among citizens.
While felicitating with Nigerians, the business tycoon, admonished Nigerians to unite as one, support one another and embrace local products to raise domestic quality, save the naira from unending plunge and build the economy.
