Twenty people have been killed and many wounded in a terrorist attack in Ouagadougou, capital of Burkina Faso.
The attack came as gunmen opened fire on customers seated outside a restaurant. One Turkish citizen has been confirmed dead but other nationalities are yet to be confirmed.
Government officials say the attack is now over with the two assailants also killed by security forces.
There are suggestions that the latest attack is the work of one of the affiliates of al-Qaeda that are active in the Sahel region. A jihadist attack on a nearby cafe killed thirty people in January last year.
