The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfattah Ahmed has affirmed that the school feeding program by the Federal Government for junior secondary school pupils in Nigeria, will help to stimulate local agriculture support scheme in Kwara and the country at large.
Governor Ahmed while speaking with newsmen, described the programme as a laudable one which will boost the human capital development in the education sector and therefore urged states across the federation to key into it.
On the introduction of salary verification exercise and its effect on workers, the governor explained that the exercise was aimed at completely eliminating ghost workers in the state.
He urged the state workers to be patient just as he expressed his determination to carry out the verification exercise to a logical conclusion.
Governor Ahmed charged critics of the APC-led administration to be objective in criticism as a lot is being done to enshrine the change mantra of the Muhammadu Buhari-led government.
